Data Protection

On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force establishing a new data privacy regime in the EU. As a binding legal instrument of the European Union the Regulation is directly applicable in every Member State, thus providing a uniform level of data protection in all Member States.

Each data subject has the right to access the personal data transmitted by her or him as well as the right to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

If the data subject considers that the rights relating to her or him are not or not sufficiently complied with, she or he has the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.

We record the connection data of all visits to our website in so-called server log files. These access data are communicated by your browser to us. They include the following information: the date and time of access, the name of the webpage viewed, the IP address of your computer, the URL from which you came to visit our site, the data volume transferred, information on your browser (provider and version) and the operating system of your computer. This information is necessary in order to optimise the services of our website and remedy any faults as well as to protect it from attacks by e.g. DDOS. The log files are also evaluated statistically, for example, to analyze the number of monthly visits, the most frequently visited pages or downloads. This is done without personal reference and serves to improve the offer.
